Sorry No Winter activities for 2023
Serenity, breath-taking and magical are words used to describe The Ranch during the winter months. The all-white blanket of snow shines in the sun offering a never-ending view of the range. Enjoy snow shoeing, cross-country skiing trails and Ice fishing. We have snowshoes and skis available but you will need your own boots! Come enjoy an outdoor fire in the afternoons with Hot Cocoa and s’morse or enjoy a game of pool by the indoor fire in the old Log Home.
Snowmobiles
We welcome snowmobiles here but ask that there is no riding on the property to avoid spooking the horses, aside from a slow departure or arrival of course. There are many trails and paths for you to take nearby, a common favourite is the power lines accessible right from our property where you can ride endlessly.
Snow Shoeing
Enjoy hiking through the trails floating over multiple feet of snow. Included in your reservation is the option to borrow our snow shoes free of charge.
Cross-country Skiing
If you are the type who likes to glide down the trails seeing wildlife and the natural beauty of the Big Bar area, we welcome you to use our cross-country skis free of charge. You’ll need to bring your own ski boots but we can handle the rest!
